IG Islamabad Akbar Naser has stated that whatever decision the court takes regarding the arrest of Imran Khan, they will act upon it, The police have implemented effective security arrangements at the High Court as well.
During a press conference, IG Islamabad directed police officials to ensure the special security arrangements, as in such situations, enemies try to take advantage of the situation.
Naser mentioned that the police have provided good security arrangements at the High Court, and efforts were made to ensure that ordinary citizens are not affected during the security measures. He also mentioned that it is impossible to predict the possibility of Imran Khan’s arrest, but they will comply with whatever decision the court makes.
Furthermore, he stated that a terrorist incident occurred in Islamabad a few months ago, and similar incidents have occurred in Peshawar and Karachi. A curfew has been imposed in Islamabad, and efforts are being made to prevent any unpleasant incidents from happening.
