Former Chief Minister of Punjab and central president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is staying away from organized conspiracies against judges and the judiciary.
During a meeting with former members of the assembly and senior lawyers in Lahore, Parvez Elahi said that the PML-N is defaming respected judges for their own interests. Before criticizing the judiciary, why do they forget their own past? These are the same Shahbaz Sharif who used to call judges and get their desired decisions by making phone calls.
The President of PTI further said that there is no disagreement in the judiciary on the supremacy and protection of the constitution. It is not unusual for experts to have differences of opinion on technical matters. All judges are equally respected and guardians of the constitution.
They said that the barbaric rulers have created a new spectacle like the tragedy of May 25. PTI leaders and workers are being arrested in false cases and the entire Pakistan is being taken on a tour of jails.
