Light rain in the northern and western areas of Karachi early this morning has made the weather pleasant, bringing relief from the heat and improving overall conditions in the city.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to a western weather system, more rain accompanied by thunder, lightning, and strong winds is expected in different parts of the city today, with moderate to heavy showers possible in some areas.
The department stated that if thunderclouds intensify, wind speeds could exceed 40 kilometers per hour, leading to stronger gusts in certain locations, although no rain is expected in the city tomorrow.
It further added that rain with thunder and strong winds is likely again on Saturday and Sunday, with a possibility of hailstorms in some areas, advising residents to take precautionary measures.
