Reports of an alleged attack on the Tehran Science and Technology University, a major educational institution in Iran’s capital Tehran, have sparked widespread global concern.
According to reports, the nearly 97-year-old university was bombed, severely disrupting academic activities and affecting normal operations.
Following the incident, members of the overseas community and various groups have expressed deep sorrow and concern, describing the situation as highly alarming.
The overseas community stated that targeting educational institutions is unacceptable under international law, as universities are always considered safe zones and must be protected at all times.
The statement further emphasized that attacks on educational institutions reflect a dangerous trend that threatens not only the education system but also global peace.
