A coordinated disinformation campaign against Pakistan on social media, allegedly carried out by India in collaboration with Afghanistan, has been exposed.
According to sources, fake social media accounts are being used to spread a negative narrative about Pakistan, while strategic disinformation attacks are being conducted under a joint effort by India and Afghanistan.
Security sources stated that dozens of accounts posing as Iranian identities are actually being operated from India and Afghanistan, and a structured propaganda campaign has been launched against Pakistan in the name of Iran.
Reports indicate that the campaign was initiated through ghost X accounts such as INN Iran News and Iran TV, while fabricated Iranian reactions against Pakistan were amplified through accounts operated from Afghanistan.
Sources further revealed that false allegations of Pakistan supplying oil to the United States were used to fuel hate-based propaganda and to make Pakistan’s key role in regional peace efforts controversial.
Through these ghost social media accounts, a narrative is being built portraying Pakistan as anti-Iran and aligned with a Western agenda. This disinformation campaign is being described as a dangerous attempt to create distrust and division within the Muslim world.
