US President Donald Trump has dismissed reports claiming that the United States plans to provide $300 million to Iran, describing them as false and politically motivated.
In a statement posted on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said allegations about approving $300 million in aid for Iran were completely untrue.
He claimed that the reports were being deliberately spread by Democratic political opponents as part of a misinformation campaign.
According to Trump, there is no plan, agreement, or discussion underway regarding any financial assistance to Iran.
The US president also stated that Iran has agreed it will never acquire nuclear weapons.
His remarks come amid ongoing discussions and speculation regarding US-Iran relations, although no official documents or agreements supporting the reported funding claims have been made public.
