Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, during his successful visit to India, has refuted the false propaganda of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that every Muslim is a terrorist.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi upon his return from attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in India, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the criticism leveled against him by the BJP indicates their lack of respect for him. He further stated that this is because a particular group in India is spreading false propaganda, which is being represented by their foreign minister.
He stated that his denial of this propaganda is a direct result of his understanding and his own stance on the matter. The BJP is attempting to spread this propaganda in order to win elections, claiming that every Muslim is a terrorist.
The Foreign Minister stated that Pakistani representatives at the summit have successfully countered Indian propaganda on terrorism and the Kashmir issue, which has left a bitter taste in the mouths of the Indian government, as evident by the emotional statements made by their foreign minister during his press conference.
