Lahore: Former Chief Minister Pervez Elahi has stated that he is declaring in the presence of Allah that he is innocent. He trusts the judiciary and has been a supporter of Pakistan’s armed forces since the beginning.
President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Chief Minister Pervez Elahi, during his appearance in front of the judicial magistrate, spoke to the media and said that by the grace and mercy of Allah, he is completely innocent, and he is saying this in the presence of Allah. He mentioned that the outcome is in the hands of Allah.
Pervez Elahi further stated that he has faith in the judiciary and has been a supporter of Pakistan’s armed forces since the beginning. However, he expressed concern about the moment and urged them to think about the people around them and where they are taking the country.
President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pervez Elahi, sent a message to the party stating that they are on the path of truth and justice, and they should stand firm and be strong.
The former Chief Minister appeared in front of the judicial magistrate’s court. The anti-corruption authorities have requested physical remand of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
