Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi depart from Lahore to Islamabad for their appearance in the Islamabad High Court and the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in connection with the proceedings.
NAB (National Accountability Bureau) has also summoned both of them in a corruption case involving 190 million pounds.
NAB’s Rawalpindi branch had initiated investigations into the case of the recovery of 190 million pounds from the Al-Qadir Trust connected to Bahria Town in the UK on Wednesday. However, neither of them appeared, and instead, their lawyers represented them in NAB and submitted the response.
Instead of appearing, Chairman PTI requested for a postponement on Thursday, while Bushra Bibi also sent a letter to NAB.
In the letter, it was stated that she is a veiled woman and cannot appear without her husband, so her appearance should be deferred until Thursday.
