Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah criticized the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that there was an intention to launch an attack on Islamabad, fostering chaos. On May 9, under the pretext of planning, attacks were carried out on installations, fueling the spread of hatred and divisiveness.
Addressing a ceremony marking the foundation stone laying of the hospital and model college in Islamabad Police Lines, Rana Sanaullah stated that all resources would be provided for the improvement of the police force, with the welfare and well-being of the families of police martyrs being the top priority.
Rana Sanaullah mentioned that the obligations towards the families of police martyrs had been fulfilled, and all issues concerning their welfare would be resolved. The sacrifices made by our martyrs for the sake of our secure future will not be disrespected or forgiven by those who dishonor their memorials.
He further stated that the salaries of Islamabad Police had been equalized with those of the Punjab Police. The capital police were playing a significant role in maintaining peace and a Dolphin Force and other forces would be established in Islamabad. If a Dolphin Force was not established in Punjab, street crimes would continue to rise.
Rana Sanaullah expressed that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was serving the country and the nation day and night. Merit and transparency were being ensured in every sector. In the previous government, positions were obtained through bribery.
