Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq has demanded that the federal government resign immediately and announce general elections. Siraj-ul-Haq appealed to the nation, urging them to engage in a struggle against injustice and oppressors through the power of their vote.
While addressing a public gathering in Charsadda, Siraj-ul-Haq stated that Jamaat-e-Islami cannot tolerate the government even for another day.
He said that the people of Karachi had given a mandate to Jamaat-e-Islami, as the residents of Karachi had rejected corruption. However, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) forcefully won the election for the Mayor of Karachi. He further added that there would be a protest in front of the Election Commission in Islamabad after Friday prayers, as the Election Commission does not receive remuneration from the PPP but from the nation.
He expressed that the rulers do not have a solution for the economy; they burden the country and the nation. The people are suffering from inflation, unemployment, and the fire of poverty, while the parliamentarians’ allowances are increasing. He appealed to the nation to use the power of the vote to fight against injustice and oppressors.
