Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has stated that our government has one month left before its term ends and we are facing issues due to trade losses.
Shahbaz Sharif laid the foundation of the central campus of the National University of Technology in Islamabad and distributed certificates among the youth.
Addressing the ceremony, Shahbaz Sharif said that efforts are underway for reforms in the education sector, and making the youth skilled is the key to success in the present time.
He said, “I am confident that the university administration will take it forward. Skill is the best weapon in any field, so I hope that talented youth will illuminate Pakistan’s name worldwide.”
The Prime Minister stated that during the tenure of the Higher Education Ministry in Punjab, attention was given to vocational training. In 1997, work was done on projects for learning and teaching skills, but resources are required to initiate any work.
During the address at the ceremony, Shahbaz Sharif said that technical education is essential for the progress of nations. In 2008, the Punjab Endowment Fund was established, and model schools were built for the education of underprivileged children. However, scholars objected to the utilization of Zakat Fund.
