Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) forms Cricket Technical Committee, appoints former captain Misbah-ul-Haq as its head. PCB has formed a high-level cricket technical committee.
PCB has established a high-level Cricket Technical Committee, with former captain Misbah-ul-Haq appointed as the chairman of this three-member committee. The other members of the committee include two former captains, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez.
The Cricket Technical Committee will present its recommendations regarding various aspects of cricket, including the structure of domestic cricket, playing conditions, the appointment of the national selection committee, the appointment of national cricket team coaches, central and domestic contracts, and plans concerning umpires, referees, and curators.
The Cricket Technical Committee will have the authority to invite cricket experts and provide its report to the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Management Committee in an organized manner.
Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf says that it is a pleasure to have 3 former captains Misbah-ul-Haq, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Muhammad Hafeez join the Cricket Technical Committee,All three have a great knowledge of cricket and understand the demands of modern day cricket very well.
Zaka Ashraf added that the structure of domestic cricket is the pillar of any cricket playing nation and we have to develop our structure in the best possible way, The presence of Misbah-ul-Haq, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Muhammad Hafeez will help to improve our cricket system so that we can bring out the best cricketers.
