Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court annulled the session court’s decision to declare the cases of Tosha Khana criminal proceedings admissible.
According to the details, a hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court on the petition against declaring the case of Tosha Khana criminal proceedings admissible.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq held a hearing, during the hearing, Justice Amir Farooq delivered the reserved decision yesterday.
In the decision, the Islamabad High Court annulled the session court’s decision to declare the case of Toshakhana criminal proceedings admissible.
In the judgment, it has been said that the Sessions Court will hear the case again, Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar will hear the case.
In the decision, the court has issued a notice for the coming week on the request of PTI Chairman to restore his right to defence.
The court rejected the request to transfer the Toshakhana case to another court and stated in the written verdict that Judge Humayun Dilawar’s Facebook account is not authentic.
The High Court has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the matter of the judge’s Facebook posts and ordered that the FIA can demand involvement of individuals in the case.
The court has ordered the FIA to submit a report on the Facebook posts within ten days.
