Federal Minister of Information Maryam Aurangzeb says that we have not adopted any policy that would restrict the media, we have accepted the criticism with a smile, we do not want Musharraf’s black law.
Speaking at the press conference, Federal Minister of Information, Maryam Aurangzeb, emphasized the significance of interacting with journalists and underscored the importance of press freedom in providing a platform for expressing opinions.
The Information Minister said that in 2002, a dictator made Pemra’s black law, we don’t want Musharraf’s black law, we accepted the criticism with a smile,It has not adopted any policy that restricts the media, it will not make any legislation that journalists object to.
Maryam Aurangzeb remarked that the incident in Nawabshah is distressing and a source of sorrow. She extended her condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the incident. Relief operations have been initiated in the affected area, and Khawaja Saad has presented details about the train accident. Investigations are underway, and the incident will not be used for political discussions.
The Federal Minister further said that all the political parties were present in the Council of Common Interests (CCI) meeting, all the parties have approved the census results.
