Islamabad: Ata Tarar, a leader of the Muslim League, responded to the suspension of PTI Chairman’s sentence by saying that for the sake of granting relief to the “ladla” (favored one), two influential figures have played a game.
According to details, Ata Tarar, a leader of the Muslim League, strongly criticized the judicial decision to suspend the sentence of PTI Chairman in the Toshakhana case.
Ata Tarar stated that a game has been played to provide relief to the “ladla” (favored one), as today ladla (favored one) has been granted unconditional relief, which was not supposed to happen. When asked about the Tosha khana theft, they have no answer. Even if the list of witnesses had been presented, they still couldn’t hide the theft in the case.
The leader of the opposition party, PML-N, stated that he sees an increase in PTI Chairman’s difficulties. It seems that when the trial begins, the sentence will be reinstated.
He said that the judge has already arrested him in the cipher case, Chairman PTI will have to answer for the theft and the cipher.
Ata Tarar’s statement was that the President of the nation has again taken action based on wrong statements, but he didn’t backtrack on it, clarifying that he had taken it back himself. The President of the nation suspended the sentence of his own party’s chairman. His effort is to resolve his cases before September 16.
The President had already served a 6-month reduction in the sentence of his own party’s chairman’s penalty on August 14th, the 6-year penalty was reduced to 2 months so that relief could be sought from the Islamabad High Court, the Constitution did not grant the President the power to reduce sentences for the sake of granting relief to his own people.
