Pakistan Peoples Party leader Manzoor Wassan has said that an alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is possible in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking informally to journalists, he mentioned that the MQM’s stance regarding constituency delimitation is unwarranted. He pointed out that they hold the highest number of seats in Sindh, and MQM’s claim is baseless. He said MQM both slaps and cries; it is the only party that remains in power in every era with all political groups.
He further stated that the general elections could take place in the last week of January. No political party is likely to gain a majority in the elections.
Manzoor Wassan mentioned that they chanted “Jiye Bhutto” even in jails, but nowadays, he cannot sleep, so he doesn’t dream of political aspirations.
