The US dollar has depreciated for the 16th consecutive day against the rupee in Pakistan. Yesterday, the value of the dollar was recorded at 289 rupees 80 paise in the interbank.
On the third day of the business week, at the beginning of the trading day, the dollar dropped to PKR 288.70 in the interbank market after a decrease of 10 paisas.
It’s worth noting that the previous day, the dollar’s value was recorded at PKR 289.80 in the interbank market.
Meanwhile, there is noticeable volatility in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.
The 100-index decreased by 17 points and settled at 46,259, compared to the previous day’s closing of 46,277 points.
