The Supreme Court has appointed special courts to hear the case against the trial of civilians. A new bench has been formed to hear the case, a 5-member bench will hear the case on October 23.
The hearing will be conducted by a five-member bench headed by Justice Ijazul Hassan, whose other members include Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Mazhar Naqvi and Justice Ayesha Malik.
The last hearing of this case was held on August 3.
The petitioners have challenged the trial in civilian courts.
The Supreme Court has also fixed the case related to holding general elections for hearing in 90 days.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will conduct the hearing, the other two members of the bench include Justice Athar Minullah and Justice Aminuddin Khan.
In this regard, petitions have been filed by Supreme Court Bar and others including PTI.
