The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a production order for the imprisoned Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Adiala Jail.
Productions have been released for the chargesheet in the Election Commission case of insulting the former Prime Minister, the Election Commission has directed the chairman PTI to appear on October 24 at 10 am.
The Inspector General of Punjab and Islamabad has been ordered to provide full-proof security on the occasion. On the other hand, in the contempt of the Election Commission case, the former Information Minister, Fawad Chaudhry, has been arrested on a bail warrant while being directed to submit two surety bonds of Rs. 50,000 each.
The Election Commission has written a letter to the Inspector General Islamabad regarding the implementation of the arrest warrant. The letter states that the IG Islamabad should present Fawad Chaudhry in the Election Commission on October 24 because despite the directives, Fawad Chaudhry has not personally appeared in the case.
It should be noted that in the case of insulting the Election Commission, the charge sheet will be filed against Chairman PTI and Fawad Chaudhary on October 24. The Election Commission has also issued a written order for the previous hearing.
