Islamabad Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar says that the elections will be held on February 8 and will be transparent. Currently,PTI has not made any decisions regarding contesting elections on both the party and the PTI chairman’s behalf.

According to the details, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar said in an interview that the elections will be held on February 8 and will be transparent.

Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that there is a strong possibility that the arrangements for the elections will give relatively better results.

On the question of the popularity of the leaders, the caretaker prime minister said that the popularity of the leader will be determined in the elections.

Regarding the PTI chief, he said that the PTI chief or his party is currently not banned from contesting the elections. If something unusual happens, he cannot say anything.

After the incident on May 9th, Anwar ul Haq Kakar responded to the PTI leaders’ resignations and announcements to leave politics, stating that after May 9th, people did not disappear; they merely chose to step away from politics. Many individuals made the decision to distance themselves from PTI or politics altogether, and it was their personal choice. There is no evidence of any political coercion in this matter.

Regarding measures for economic revival, the Prime Minister expressed that the government has successfully curbed illegal trade with the assistance of the military. A monthly illegal trade of 30 to 50 billion rupees was underway, and expert advisors have been appointed to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for economic improvement.
