Former Prime Minister and leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has stated that Allah Almighty has granted him success in false and baseless cases. He expresses gratitude to the public for remembering him in their prayers, saying that their prayers have given him much encouragement. All of you also deserve congratulations.
While addressing the nation, Nawaz Sharif questioned, “Why is the burden of the people’s suffering weighing on my heart and mind today? What crime did the public commit? In which crime were heavier punishments given to Nawaz Sharif than others? Why were the stoves in their homes extinguished, and why were they deprived of healthcare facilities? If it was necessary to remove me and impose punishments to bring back a certain individual, what crime was Pakistan punished for? Why has Pakistan, with its esteemed members around the world, been isolated on the international stage?”
The former prime minister said that my citizens, you should not approach any court, you are the judge yourself, I hope you will deliver the verdict on February 8 and acquit yourself from these punishments by ending your punishments.
He mentioned that the court has acquitted him of all charges, but true happiness will prevail when the people are acquitted. The real joy will come when the public is relieved from inflation, when people receive medicines, when the youth find employment, and when Pakistan progresses forward.
Nawaz Sharif stated that it took a considerable amount of time to expose the organized conspiracy against him. He mentioned being subjected to slurs by the Sicilian Mafia and the Godfather. A bench was formed to hear three references against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). A judge from the bench that pronounced the sentence against him later became a monitoring judge on the same bench. The order to file three references against NAB was given, and the faces behind this shameful game have been unveiled. Witnesses are coming forward from unexpected places, where it was not even anticipated.
The former Prime Minister expressed, “I left my case to Allah. Today, a prolonged series of issues is visible. I spent a considerable time in jail, faced abuses, underwent character assassination. I couldn’t shoulder the bier of my revered father, nor could I place my mother in her grave. I couldn’t spend time with my wife when she was departing from this world. I find myself unable to step back or reunite with those who have departed.”
