Ali Sher Mehsud says that his family will challenge the acquittal of former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar and his seventeen subordinates in the Sindh High Court.
“A 22-year-old young man said that he came to Karachi from Waziristan on January 23 to hear the verdict of high profile case. He said “I was watching television channels that day and was in constant touch with my lawyer hoping to hear good news”.
The brother of the deceased expressed his regret and said that we had expectations from the court, we were waiting for good news for the last 5 years but we did not get justice and the court acquitted all the accused police officers while the court itself acquitted my brother was declared innocent.
He said that his family will soon challenge the anti-terrorism court’s decision to acquit former SSP Sindh Police Rao Anwar and other police officials.
Naqibullah’s brother also expressed his determination to go to the Supreme Court to get justice.
