Islamabad: Faizabad Dharna Commission has summoned former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on January 3 2024, where his statement will be recorded.
According to details, former Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was summoned by the Faizabad sit-in commission, sources said that the commission has summoned Shahbaz Sharif to record his statement on January 3.
Shahbaz Sharif was summoned to the commission as the former Chief Minister of Punjab, in this regard the commission has also prepared a questionnaire for Shahbaz Sharif regarding the Faizabad sit-in.
The inquiry commission has to submit its report to the Supreme Court on January 22. Earlier, the commission had also summoned former minister Ahsan Iqbal, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, while a second notice has also been issued to Faiz Hameed to record his statement.
Shahbaz Sharif was the Chief Minister of Punjab at the time of Tehreek Labeek’s Faizabad sit-in in Islamabad in 2017.
