During the hearing of the case of missing Baloch students, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, while giving remarks, also said that enforced disappearances will end if the people of the agencies are prosecuted.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that enforced disappearances happen because state agencies do not obey the courts, agencies will have their own mechanism but they need to decide.
The distinguished judge remarked that now if there is any enforced disappearance, the prime minister, defense minister, interior minister, defense secretary and interior secretary will be responsible for it.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired that when terrorists can be tried in anti-terrorism courts, why can’t Baloch extremists be tried?The Federation should submit an affidavit within a week that there will be no more enforced disappearances.
