Ogra has approved further increase in gas prices. Ogra approves further increase in average gas tariff by 35.13%, gas price hike has been approved from January 1.
An average increase of 35.13% in the tariff has been approved for the gas consumers of Islamabad, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while an average increase of 8.57% in the tariff has been approved for the gas consumers of Sindh, Baluchistan.
Soi Northern has approved to increase the tariff from Rs 435.14 per mmbtu to a new tariff of Rs 1673.82 per mmbtu.
OGRA has increased Sui Southern’s tariff by Rs 115.72 per mmbtu to Rs 1466.40 per mmbtu.
OGRA has sent the notification of increase in gas prices to the federal government for approval, after approval OGRA will issue a formal notification.
