According to the Indian media, in celebration of the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, a hotel owner in Musa Ram Bagh area of Deccan, Hyderabad, announced to give free halim for iftar, after which the crowd of people broke up at the hotel.
People pushed each other to get free haleem, the situation became serious due to pulling and pushing and people quarreled with each other, even the road was blocked.
Seeing the situation spiraling out of control, the hotel owner was forced to call the police for help who, after failing to disperse the mob, resorted to lathi charge, after which the people dispersed.
