The Election Commission has clarified in the code of conduct that political parties and candidates will not make statements against the ideology of Pakistan and its integrity, and no statement will be made that would ridicule the armed forces, parliament, or judiciary.

Political parties and candidates will avoid making the Election Commission controversial, candidates will not be involved in any corrupt and illegal activities.

In the code of conduct of the Election Commission, the president and the provincial governors are bound that they will not participate in the election campaign for the Senate elections, while the code of conduct prohibits voters from taking mobile phones to the polling station.
