The federal government has decided to pay homage to the martyrs of the May 9 tragedy, which will be held at the Islamabad Jinnah Convention Center.
According to sources, there will be a special ceremony at Islamabad Jinnah Convention Center in which Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir will also participate.
It should be noted that after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on May 9 last year, violent incidents were reported across the country. Agitators targeted military installations and staged arson and demonstrations at various locations across the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay homage to the martyrs in the ceremony, the families of the martyrs will also participate in the ceremony in memory of the martyrs.
Pakistan army, police, security agencies and families of martyrs fighting terrorism will participate, while the federal cabinet and members of parliament will also participate.
According to the sources, the ceremony will be held under the title of “Don’t let desecration happen again”.Diplomats have also been invited to participate in the event.
