A bus of Pakistani pilgrims met with a horrific accident in Iran, as a result of which 35 people were killed and 15 injured.
According to the details, a bus of pilgrims from Pakistan to Iran for pilgrimage met with a terrible accident in the city of Yazd, Iran.
Iranian media said that 35 people were killed and Pakistani citizens were also injured in the bus accident. The accident happened near the Taftan check point and the bus also caught fire.
The Iranian media said that initially the accident occurred due to brake failure of the bus, but an emergency was imposed in the hospitals of Yazd so that the injured could be given immediate medical assistance.
Most of the 53 Pakistani pilgrims on board the bus belong to Larkana, Ghotki and other cities of Sindh.
According to Babu Iqbal, correspondent of ARY News in Larkana, a passenger named Abdul Wahab in the bus has said that the bodies of many people were scattered in front of him.
According to the injured passenger, Abdul Wahab, the pilgrims of the bus were traveling from Iran to Iraq and the bus crashed into the wall due to brake failure in the Iranian city of Yazd. Rescue operations are ongoing.
According to the Iranian Red Crescent, the condition of several people injured in the Zairin bus accident is critical, and the death toll is expected to rise.
