Islamabad: Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application after his arrest was rejected. The bail application was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra.
District and Sessions Courts Islamabad, Sheikh Rasheed’s post-arrest bail application hearing was held in which Sheikh Rasheed’s lawyers Sardar Abdul Raziq, Intizar Panjutha, Prosecutor Adnan and plaintiff’s lawyer appeared in the court.
Shaikh Rasheed’s lawyer Sardar Abdul Raziq said that the case was registered under the conspiracy and clash between two political parties by Shaikh Rashid. The provisions imposed in the case can be imposed by the federal or provincial government, not on citizens, religious groups, linguistic groups or any nationality that has not made such a statement on which such provisions are imposed.
Later, after hearing the arguments of the parties, the court reserved its decision on Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application, which has now been heard.
