Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has instructed his wife, Bushra Bibi, to stay away from politics following a controversial statement.
According to media reports, senior leadership of PTI expressed concerns after Bushra Bibi’s controversial statement surfaced, prompting immediate action by Imran Khan.
The central leadership of PTI has decided to distance itself from Bushra Bibi’s statement.
Media reports indicate that PTI sources revealed Imran Khan advised Bushra Bibi to consult party leadership before making any statements.
It is reported that Bushra Bibi will participate in the protest on November 24 but will not have a central role.
On the other hand, after facing criticism for her controversial statement, Bushra Bibi tried to send a message to Imran Khan through Mishal Yousafzai but was not permitted to meet the PTI founder at Adiala Jail.
PTI leaders stated in media reports that Bushra Bibi’s message was edited and uploaded, raising questions about how such a significant error was overlooked.
It should be noted that Bushra Bibi had released a video message the previous day, accusing a friendly country of being responsible for the downfall of Imran Khan’s government.
