The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 begins today, and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the commentary panel for the mega event.
The opening match will be played between the host and defending champions, Pakistan, and New Zealand. The ICC has revealed a star-studded commentary panel to enhance the excitement of the tournament’s broadcasts.
The ICC has assembled a panel of experienced former cricketers who will provide live commentary and analysis during the matches.
The announced panel includes three former Pakistani cricketers: Wasim Akram, Rameez Raja, and Bazid Khan, along with Athar Ali Khan. Other notable names include Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Dinesh Karthik (India), Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton, and Ian Smith (England).
Additionally, the panel features Matthew Hayden, Aaron Finch (Australia), Simon Doull (New Zealand), Ian Bishop (West Indies), Dale Steyn, Shaun Pollock (South Africa), Athar Ali Khan, Mel Jones, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Kass Naidoo, Katey Martin, and Ian Ward.
