Two lines of 72 inch diameter have been affected due to breakdown of K Electric at Dabehji pumping station, CEO Water Board has directed the concerned officers to repair the line.
The Water Board officials say that on receiving the information, the Water Board officials reached the spot and inspected the affected line, while CEO Water Board Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed instructed the concerned officers and said that the restoration work of the affected line was completed on an emergency basis. should be done.
Chief Engineer Bilak Sikander Zardari said that the maintenance work of the lines has been started on an emergency basis, the repair work of line number one PRRC will be completed in the next four days while the repair work of line number five will be completed in 24 hours.
He said that due to the affected lines, fewer pumps are running after which water supply to the city has been started from alternative pumps.
