More than 90% of schools in England have now imposed a ban on the use of mobile phones.
According to foreign media, the head of the National Education Union had called for a legal ban on mobile phones in schools and on social media use for children under the age of 16.
The union chief stated that the issue came to light after a survey revealed that, on average, a 12-year-old child has access to extremely explicit content on their mobile phone.
He further added that this is incredibly harmful to young boys’ health and to their perceptions of women, girls, gender, and relationships.
