Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was given a warm welcome upon his arrival at the Palace of Independence in Belarus.
In Minsk, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko warmly received Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif with an embrace at the Palace of Independence. A guard of honor was presented on the occasion, and the Prime Minister inspected the guard. National anthems of both countries were played.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the Belarusian armed forces presented a salute to the Prime Minister. Both leaders introduced their respective delegations to each other.
A formal reception ceremony was held in honor of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Prime Minister and the President of Belarus will hold a bilateral meeting, with both leading their respective delegations in a delegation-level dialogue.
During the discussions, both sides will focus on enhancing cooperation in trade, economy, education, and other sectors. Several agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed between Pakistan and Belarus.
