Global broadcaster DW has exposed misleading propaganda and fake videos spread by Indian media and social media accounts through thorough fact-checking.
According to the report, Indian media deliberately circulated false videos and statements against Pakistan during recent hostilities. DW clarified that a video shared on social media claiming an attack on Sialkot was actually from a gas cylinder explosion in Mumbai a month earlier, falsely linked to Pakistan.
DW also confirmed that Indian social media accounts shared a fake AI-generated video of DG ISPR, manipulating his original words to create a fabricated narrative.
Another video, which allegedly showed former US President Donald Trump supporting Indian aggression, was also found to be AI-generated. DW stated that Trump never made such remarks.
DW warned that such fake content can incite public unrest and stressed the importance of verifying information before sharing it.
Defense experts noted that Indian media has a long history of spreading false claims to obscure facts, but international media is now exposing these tactics, revealing India’s true face to the world.
