The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released the details of martyrs and injured during Indian aggression.
According to the Pakistan Army, on the night between May 6 and 7, India launched unprovoked attacks targeting civilians, including children, the elderly, and women.
As per the ISPR statement, 40 civilians were martyred in these attacks, including 7 women and 15 children. A total of 121 civilians were injured, including 10 women and 27 children.
In response, the Pakistan Armed Forces launched a strong counterattack under the name “Ma’rakah-e-Haq” (Battle for Truth), as part of Operation Banyan-ul-Marsous.
ISPR stated that while defending the motherland, 11 personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces embraced martyrdom, and 78 were injured.
Among the Army martyrs were Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, and Sepoy Nisar.
From the Pakistan Air Force, the martyrs included Squadron Leader Usman Yousaf, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Corporal Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubashir.
ISPR emphasized that the Pakistan Army, along with the nation, pays tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and prays for the swift recovery of the injured.
The Pakistan Army reaffirmed its resolve to respond forcefully to any aggression against the sovereignty and survival of the country.
