To highlight Pakistan’s stance on rising tensions between Pakistan and India, a diplomatic committee led by Bilawal Bhutto will visit the United States on June 2.
The Pakistani delegation is scheduled to meet with the United Nations Secretary-General in New York. In Washington, it will hold meetings with senior officials from the Trump administration.
The delegation will present Pakistan’s position on the causes of the Pakistan-India conflict to members of Congress, think tanks, and the media. It will also brief them on the security implications of the potential suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty.
The diplomatic committee includes Musadik Malik, Khurram Dastgir, former Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, and Jalil Abbas Jilani.
