Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Tajikistan after concluding his visit to Azerbaijan.
According to sources, during the two-day visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the President of Tajikistan. Shehbaz Sharif will discuss trade, energy, and investment matters with the Tajik leadership. Several agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries.
It is worth mentioning that during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Azerbaijan yesterday, President Ilham Aliyev announced a $2 billion investment in Pakistan at a trilateral summit.
Addressing the summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that India wants to block Pakistan’s water, which will never happen. He said water is Pakistan’s lifeline and that India’s threat to cut off Pakistan’s water is unacceptable.
