Sibi: Four people lost their lives and 32 others were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Bakhtiarabad in Sibi district of Balochistan. Among the injured, five are reported to be in critical condition.
According to rescue sources, all injured passengers were immediately shifted to the Teaching Hospital, where doctors stated that several are in serious condition.
Rescue officials said the bus was traveling from Sadiqabad to Quetta when the accident occurred due to overspeeding. Children are also among the deceased.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, a tragic accident occurred in Rawalakot, where a police van fell into a deep ravine near Toli Peer Chhatti Mor, resulting in the deaths of five police personnel.
The deceased officers included Inspector Ali Bukhari (Region Office Rawalakot), Inspector Naveed Ahmed, Inspector Yasir Arafat, AD Zakir Hussain (Region Rawalakot), and Muhammad Faheem (Accounts Branch, Rawalakot).
