Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 57 runs in the second T20 match, securing their first home T20 series win since 2021.
According to details, chasing Pakistan’s target of 202 runs, the entire Bangladesh team was bowled out for 144 in 19 overs, facing a comprehensive defeat by 57 runs.
For Bangladesh, Tanzim Hasan top-scored with 50 runs, followed by Tanzid Hasan with 33 and Mehidy Hasan with 23.
Pakistan’s spinner Abrar Ahmed delivered an impressive performance by taking 3 wickets, while Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Khushdil Shah, and Saim Ayub claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first, posting 201 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan played a brilliant knock of 74 runs, Mohammad Haris scored 41, and Hasan Nawaz added a solid 51. Salman Agha contributed 19 runs, while Saim Ayub made 4.
For Bangladesh, Mohsin Mehmood and Tanzim Hasan took two wickets each, while Rashid Hossain claimed one.
