The extreme heat and dry weather conditions are expected to persist across most districts of Sindh today, including Pakistan’s largest city and financial hub, Karachi, where citizens may experience severe heat and humidity.
According to the Meteorological Department, most parts of the country will remain under the grip of hot and dry weather, with temperatures in plain regions likely to stay well above normal levels.
Meanwhile, the department has forecast thunderstorms and rain in parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Pothohar region, northeastern Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Additionally, heavy rainfall accompanied by hailstorms may occur at isolated spots in these upper regions, potentially leading to a temporary shift in local weather conditions.
