Afshin Hayat, sister of renowned Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat, has stepped into the drama industry to showcase her acting skills. In a recent interview, Afshin revealed that although she has been associated with the music industry for quite some time, she has now officially entered the field of acting.
She stated that her career began with supporting roles in a few dramas, but her recent performance as an antagonist in the drama Dayan has helped her gain significant audience attention. According to Afshin, this role allowed her to showcase her talent, and she now aims to appear more frequently on screen to further refine her craft.
Afshin also shared that she has been involved in theatre for many years and has performed on stage with actor and director Yasir Hussain, which added depth to her acting abilities. She believes that theatre provided a solid foundation for her acting, and she is now applying that experience in television dramas.
Interestingly, the drama Dayan, in which Afshin is currently performing, also features her sister Mehwish Hayat in a leading role. However, many viewers remain unaware that both sisters are appearing together in the same project.
