Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States due to injury. His team, the San Francisco Unicorns, confirmed that Rauf has suffered a hamstring injury.
According to the franchise, Haris Rauf will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of the league due to his condition.
New Zealand’s Ben Lister has been named as his immediate replacement in the squad.
Rauf was the leading wicket-taker for San Francisco Unicorns in the 2025 MLC season, claiming 17 wickets in 8 matches.
His injury also puts his participation in the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh at risk. He is now unlikely to join the Pakistan national squad and is effectively ruled out of the Bangladesh series.
However, no official statement has been released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) so far regarding his availability.
It is worth noting that the national training camp for the Bangladesh tour is set to begin on July 8 at the National Stadium in Karachi. The Pakistan team is scheduled to depart for Bangladesh on July 16, with the three-match T20I series commencing on July 20.
