According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the armed forces salute the unmatched courage, unwavering commitment, and supreme sacrifice of Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed.
Born on April 1, 1967, in Yasin village of Gilgit-Baltistan, Lalak Jan joined the Pakistan Army on December 10, 1984. He served in the Northern Light Infantry Regiment and played a pivotal role during the Kargil War in 1999.
