On the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, along with the Chiefs of the Pakistan Navy, Air Force, and the entire Armed Forces, reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity with the brave and resilient people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Armed Forces fully support the legitimate and ongoing freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people, which is rooted in the UN Security Council resolutions and recognized under international law as their inalienable right to self-determination.
The statement further said that India’s oppressive actions, aggressive posture, and provocative rhetoric are not only exacerbating regional instability but are also intensifying the human tragedy in the region.
The Armed Forces of Pakistan paid rich tribute to the martyrs of IIOJK and reiterated their firm commitment to stand by the Kashmiri people at every step in their just and rightful struggle for freedom.
