Former Chief Minister of Punjab, Parvez Elahi, has criticized the government during a meeting with a delegation led by Chaudhry Shujaat Ali in Lahore. Elahi stated that Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, are playing Holi amid the fear of elections in Punjab.

Elahi said that they have gone crazy with the fear of elections in Punjab. The judiciary had ordered Imran Khan to appear on March 18, and he had already started the operation. Mohsin Naqvi has crossed all legal boundaries. Such a violent attack has never been carried out by the police force at any political leader’s house in the history of the country. Rana Sanaullah is the head of the police force.

It should be noted that during the 22-hour-long operation for the arrest of the Chairman of the Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, the area of Zaman Park, where the operation was conducted, is still a battlefield and there are severe clashes going on between the police and workers.
