Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Saudi leadership and people on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s National Day. In her statement, she said that when Saudi Arabia celebrates its National Day, Pakistan also rejoices, sharing in the happiness of its brotherly nation.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that Saudi Arabia is not just a close friend of Pakistan but a place of love and reverence for every Muslim around the world. She highlighted that following the recently signed defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Pakistan has gained the honor of being recognized as the protector of the Two Holy Mosques, a matter of great pride for the entire nation.
She added that Saudi leadership and people have always stood firmly with Pakistan in difficult times, for which the nation remains deeply grateful. Maryam Nawaz stressed that the Pakistan-Saudi defense pact is not merely an agreement between two states but serves as a protective shield for the entire Muslim Ummah, ensuring peace and stability in the region.
The Punjab Chief Minister further expressed her prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Saudi Arabia, reiterating that Pakistan will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Kingdom at every step.
