Lahore: The intermittent rain that started last night has brought a cold wave with it, affecting the provincial capital and other cities of Punjab and Sindh.
The pleasant weather turned severe in many cities of Punjab and Sindh due to heavy rain and hailstorms, causing significant damage to various crops including wheat, gram, and vegetables in Lahore, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Pakpattan, Patoki, Rajanpur, Tullah Gang, and Bhakkar.
In Tullah Gang, the hailstorms caused extensive damage to several homes, while the power supply was disrupted in many cities. The meteorological department has forecast more rainfall in the coming days.
